The “Hospital area” traditionally refers to the neighborhoods surrounding the former General Hospital on Paris Street. It includes both affluent and middle-class neighborhoods in the York Street area, leading to the former Memorial Hospital on Regent Street, as well as neighborhoods in the Martindale area. These neighborhoods are older than those around Ramsey Lake but feature well-maintained homes and beautiful gardens.
